At DFN we believe in the power of storytelling to inspire change. Our films capture the real-life journeys of DFN medical professionals and the communities they serve in some of Nepal’s most remote regions, offering a window into the challenges and the transformative impact of bringing healthcare to rural areas.

We invite you to watch, share, and join us in making healthcare accessible for everyone in Nepal!

Health in the Himalayas

(2024)

Screening in cinemas in 2025, our newest short film follows the team of medical professionals from Doctors for Nepal, as they travel to the remote Karnali district in western Nepal for our first ever women’s health camp, delivering vital healthcare to patients in one of the most remote and inaccessible regions of the Himalayas. The film explores the challenges that women face in their reproductive lives; in particular how these are impacted by living conditions, lack of education, and longstanding cultural beliefs.
