Our Health Projects

Health Camps
In 2024, we teamed up with Karnali Academy of Health Sciences to run our first ever women’s health camp in western Nepal, providing free healthcare at the point of access. We offered symptomatic gynaecology treatment, antenatal care, cervical cancer screening, family planning and menstrual hygiene education.
Health camps are a recognised way of bringing healthcare to under-served and hard-to-reach communities, and  we intend to deliver a series of camps bringing vital care to patients in one of the most remote and inaccessible regions of the Himalayas.

Emergency Response
2023 and 2015 earthquake relief projects
We undertook a four phase approach to the disasters: providing funds for immediate care in Kathmandu, assisting in the provision of medical care in the rural areas immediately affected by the earthquakes, providing medical care in areas indirectly affected by the earthquakes, and continuing a sustainable approach to improving healthcare in rural Nepal through our scholarships and partnerships with NGOs.
Covid-19 pandemic relief
During the pandemic, we provided desperately needed oxygen concentrators and generators, pulse oximeters (to measure blood oxygen levels) and supplies of high quality PPE to district hospitals in Kalikot and Mugu and the regional teaching hospitals, at Karnali Academy and Patan Academy.
