A Celebration of our Midwives

Today is the International Day of the Midwife and we are reflecting on the importance of well-trained midwives as a vital solution to the many challenges of maternal and new-born healthcare in rural Nepal. With our support, our outstanding midwifery students study on the first midwifery degree-level courses in Nepal. We provide scholarships to deserving, impoverished students from the Karnali region. 

Our current students, Parbati Bhandari and Aarati Budthapa, would not have been able to study to become midwives, without our support.
