From Sunday 10th August 2025, Doctors for Nepal will feature on the BBC Radio 4 Appeal.

Dame Joanna Lumley will tell the story of our first consultant doctor, Lalit, who overcame incredible odds to bring healthcare to some of Nepal’s most remote communities and paved the way for others to follow in his footsteps.

It is a story of hope, hard work and the creation of an inspirational team fighting for equal medical care for remote communities.
