International Day of the Nurse 2022

We’re thrilled to be celebrating the work of our nurses today, on International Day of the Nurse 2022. We continue to collaborate with NGO, PHASE, which aims to empower isolated communities through health, education and livelihood opportunities to support nursing education and offer our qualified nurses opportunities for work in remote areas.  Our PHASE nursing students were auxiliary nurse midwives, and were able to go on to complete full nursing training with our scholarships. A Celebration of our Midwives

Today is the International Day of the Midwife and we are reflecting on the importance of well-trained midwives as a vital solution to the many challenges of maternal and new-born healthcare in rural Nepal. With our support, our outstanding midwifery students study on the first midwifery degree-level courses in Nepal. We provide scholarships to deserving, impoverished students from the Karnali region.  Our current students, Parbati Bhandari and Aarati Budthapa, would not have been able to study to become midwives, without our support.
