Film Premiere Success!!

The film premiere of the DFN documentary on Saturday 19th March was a resounding success. We were sold out (300 seats), and a great evening was had by all. The Nepalese band LAYASUTRA was fantastic, and opened the evening with some lively tunes.

The film seemed to touch everyone, and we have had some lovely feedback including from one man who wrote “Your film tells a desperate story WITH COMPASSION AND LOVE. It is a masterpiece of elegant filmmaking.”

Initial counts show we raised over £6000 – enough to support one medical student for an entire year! Thank you to everyone who contributed to ensuring the evening was such a success.
Nahakul (5th year DFN student says) “Congratulations for the successful premier of the documentary…and many many thanks to all those involved in the process. Also thanks to all the people who were present for the premier and supporting the charity.
You deserve the success for your dedication and all the hard work that you have been doing over the years”.

If you did not manage to make it to this viewing – please keep watch for an upcoming announcement about further showings!  For further donations – please visit the donation page. Very many thanks, the DFN team.
