Doctors for Nepal works closely with other organisations:
- Nepali medical and nursing colleges that are offering training for community medicine in remote areas – Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS) and Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS)
- Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) delivering health programmes in rural Nepal that have specialised expertise and a deep understanding of local networks and issues - PHASE Worldwide

DFN has also added nursing scholarships with the help of PHASE WORLDWIDE - a charity working in Nepal to empower isolated communities through health, education and livelihood opportunities. Set up in 2005, PHASE works to create opportunities in some of the most remote communities in the world.
The ODA FOUNDATION works with underserved communities to provide high quality, low cost health care and education in rural Nepal. The Foundation fosters community empowerment through health and education initiatives in Nepal’s most remote villages. The Foundation focuses on sustainable, locally driven programs that aim to improve health and education while more broadly reducing regional poverty. The Foundation was incorporated in August 2013 and began operations on December 12, 2013.
The DALAI LA BOUTIQUE HOTEL in Kathmandu has welcomed DFN over the past two years, and kindly hosted the Nepalese premiere of our documentary "Namaste, a Himalayan Journey".

KARNALI ACADEMY OF HEALTH SCIENCES (KAHS) was set up to carry out the teaching, training and research in various health related subjects for the underprivileged in remote areas of Nepal. KAHS was established in October 2011, by an Act of parliament of Nepal by upgrading the existing Karnali Zonal Hospital at Jumla. The goal of KAHS is to give access to quality healthcare services and education to people of remote a areas of Karnali District by establishing a health institute in Jumla and providing skilled health professionals to deliver quality health care services and conduct health research.
