Progress: Passed his final exams in June 2023, currently doing his internship year at PAHS
Location of origin: Gandaki province, Baglung district, ward number 13, Musurabari tole.
Parents occupation: Man’s father passed away when he was four. His mother, who also sadly passed away this year, brought up the children and worked in agriculture. His mother worked very hard to pay his admission fees and it has been a financial stretch for the family to pay their debts, so Man is determined to give back to communities like his.
Siblings: 4 brothers and 3 sisters, all married and living separately

June 2023:
Man is now a Doctor for Nepal! After all of his dedication and deep study, he passed his final exams this month and will embark on his internship year at Patan Academy of Health Sciences, before going to work in the remote regions. Congratulations Man!

Man has done a retake exam and has been busy studying and in hospital. His final year exams will take place in April/May 2023. He has sent these wonderful pictures of him in action:
April 2022:
We are very pleased to announce that we have just started providing funds to cover Man’s tuition fees so that he can continue his 5th year medical studies at Patan Academy of Health Sciences in Kathmandu. Without this support, Man would have struggled to pay his tuition instalment in time, following the financial demands of his studies and caring for his sick mother. Now he can go ahead and take his exams and keep working towards his dream. We are delighted to welcome Man into the DFN family.
