Two More DFN Doctors Selected For Postgraduate Study!

DFN doctors, Purna and Nahakul, have been selected for postgraduate (MD) study to become consultant-level doctors.

Purna will specialise in Paediatrics and Nahakul will be studying surgery. Nahakul has received a government scholarship, while Purna will be supported by a Doctors for Nepal Postgraduate Scholarship. He will go on to work at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences after his study, helping to continue our joint mission of bringing more specialists to rural areas.

We’re immensely proud of the years of hard work it has taken to get to this point, and we can’t wait to see the difference that they continue to make in remote areas of Nepal.
