Young Supporters Raise Funds for DFN!

A group of young DFN supporters spent the last day of the summer holidays raising money for DFN! Margaux and friends set up a fundraising stall in Knutsford, raising £30 for the charity. We are so grateful for their generosity and impressed by their ingenuity! Every penny will go towards helping our students, doctors and nurses improve healthcare in rural Nepal so they have made a real difference!

Two Newly-Qualified Nurses Step into Employment

Two of our recently graduated PCL nurses have secured employment in rural areas. Sangita K.C. and Rita Jirel will both be working as nurses with PHASE Nepal in remote health posts in Humla and Mugu respectively. This is an exciting step for them as they embark on their journey as fully qualified nurses! Nigel and Konrad are Cycling From London to Brighton for DFN!

Nigel Lewers and Konrad von Szczepanski are cycling from London to Brighton on 10th September 2023 in aid of DFN! All donations raised from this challenge will go towards medical, nursing and midwifery scholarships for impoverished students in Nepal. These students will go on to provide lifesaving medical care in the most remote areas of the country, so every pound raised will make a huge difference to the lives of entire communities, who are in desperate need of medical support. More Nursing and Midwifery Students Complete Their Study!

Thanks to DFN scholarships, six more inspirational students have finished their study! We're delighted for our five third-year nursing students, Sangita, Sita, Niruta, Hardevi and Rita, and our midwifery student Parbati, who have aced their final-year exams at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences! They will now take their license exam before looking to put their skills into action and gain employment in a remote area to start their exciting journey as fully qualified health practitioners.
