Film Premiere Success!!
The film premiere of the DFN documentary on Saturday 19th March was a resounding success. We were sold out (300 seats), and a great evening was had by all. The Nepalese band LAYASUTRA was fantastic, and opened the evening with some lively tunes.
The film seemed to touch everyone, and we have had some lovely feedback including from one man who wrote "Your film tells a desperate story WITH COMPASSION AND LOVE. It is a masterpiece of elegant filmmaking."

I am working with Nick Simmons Institute (NSI - and NGO that funds extra doctors in Government hospitals) in Taplejung district- the most remote area of eastern Nepal, home to Mount Kanchanjungha, the 3rd highest peak in the world. This is my 3rd year of commitment to work back in a rural area after I received my scholarship with Doctors For Nepal.
Four months into working here, I work across two different areas.
