Huge Postgraduate Expansion!
On top of our work providing undergraduate scholarships, we are passionate about upskilling doctors and recognise the desperate need for consultant-level and specialist doctors in remote Nepal. For this reason, we are delighted that we are able to expand our postgraduate offering.

Dr. Purna Reports on Rural Karnali Health Camp
Thanks to DFN doctor, Purna, for sharing his experience at a recent district hospital health camp offering VIA (cervical screening), OPD and family planning.
'It was a great opportunity for us to help those women who are almost away from main health stream. We have gave a comprehensive health Service including family planning, OPD, VIA screening. More than 200 womens of 'Khina Gau' of Palata rural municipality (one of the most remotest part of Kalikot district) were benifited by this camp.' - Purna

Dr. Man Passes Nepal Medical Council Exam
Congratulations to DFN Doctor, Man Bahadur Darji, who has passed his Nepal Medical Council exam!
Now is he coming to the end of his internship year, he will be posted to a role in rural Nepal in just a few weeks!
Dr. Meena Embarks on Postgraduate Study!
Congratulations to Dr. Meena, who will be embarking on postgraduate study this month, having successfully gained a place for her MD in General Practice in Kathmandu.
Since becoming our first female graduate in 2016, Meena has gone on to serve thousands of patients in rural Nepal, working in remote Mugu district. We're so proud of her as she takes this next step towards becoming a consultant-level doctor!
