On top of our work providing undergraduate scholarships, we are passionate about upskilling doctors and recognise the desperate need for consultant-level and specialist doctors in remote Nepal. Thanks to DFN doctor, Purna, for sharing his experience at a recent district hospital health camp offering VIA (cervical screening), OPD and family planning. Dr. Meena Embarks on Postgraduate Study!

Congratulations to Dr. Meena, who will be embarking on postgraduate study this month, having successfully gained a place for her MD in General Practice in Kathmandu. Since becoming our first female graduate in 2016, Meena has gone on to serve thousands of patients in rural Nepal, working in remote Mugu district.
