We are very pleased to announce that we have selected a new student for full scholarship at Patan Academy:
Prakash Thakulla is 18 years old, and from the far west region of Achham in Nepal. He comes from an impoverished background, and in his words “..your generous financial support has allowed me to be a step closer to my dream..to concentrate on my education..and inspired me to help others by giving to my community..”.
He started his medical education last week and we wish him every success with his studies.
Some other great news from patan: both Meena and Nahakul have passed their pre-clinical exams and are through to their 3rd year of studies.
