Well done to the Outdoor cinema event Sunday 25th August!

Update: What a great evening! We raised nearly £1,125 - so well done to everyone who came along and to the organisers. Especially big thanks to Zetter Hotel and Townhouse (London), and Terre a Terre (Brighton), for their very generous donations to the raffle. Also thank you to Charlies' Buns and Gelato for providing such great food on the night. We hope to hold further cinema events - so watch this space! !

News from Medical student Meena

Namaste! I am doing very well.  My First year results came and I passed it with pretty good score.  My Second year is running quite smoothly. We are going to have Sports Week in the upcoming week.  I am planning to participate in Football, and Track and Field.  I am very excited and nervous at the same time! This coming Tuesday we have a festival called Holi, where we play with colors and balloons. We throw different colors, buckets of water,  and water balloons at our friends and family.  It is a really enjoyable festival and I am really excited to celebrate Holi at my hostel this year. Best wishes, Meena

OUR LATEST NEWS

2012 has been a very special year for Doctors for Nepal, as we now have our very first Doctor for Nepal. Lalit was overjoyed in September to learn that he had passed his final exams at Nepalgunj School of Medicine, and is now well into his equivalent of a ‘house job’ at Nepalgunj Hospital. At Patan Academy of Health Science (PAHS), our students Nahakul and Meena are making good progress in their second year. They are enjoying the early introduction to work in rural communities and send us frequent updates which you can now view on our recently updated website. Doctors for Nepal continues to support Meena and Nahakul with essential study resources ...
