CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN COMING SOON
From 11 September we will be seeking donations for our first graduated doctor Lalit to begin postgraduate medical training to refine his knowledge enough to make a difference to villagers’ healthcare in rural Nepal. We hope to raise at least £4,000 between 11–29 September 2017 as part of the GLOBAL GIVING ACCELERATOR campaign.

Exam results from our medical students
We are delighted to announce that all our medical students have done extremely well in their recent exams with some excellent results. Congratulations to them all on their continued hard work and success as they aim to become the next Doctors for Nepal.
Apsara has passed her second year internal exam and is currently on a well earned break before starting her third year in September.
Prakash has passed his first clinical exam in his third year and is about to complete his clinical year. He has one more exam when he has finished his four week community posting....

News from our Doctors
Our newest DFN doctors, Meena and Nahakul, are both currently working as interns in Patan Hospital, Kathmandu. On our recent Trustees visit to Nepal it was very rewarding to see them finally working as newly qualified doctors in the hospital – we are extremely proud of all their achievements. Both will soon be heading out into rural Nepal to take up work placements.
